I. Trade marks

As the Registrar of Trade marks the Registrar General is responsible for the registration and administration trademarks. Trade marks include words, signs and symbols which distinguish the goods of one proprietor from those of others.

II. Patents

As the Registrar of Patents, the Registrar General also registers and administers patent rights granted for inventions.

III. Registered Designs

The Registrar General is also responsible for registration of Industrial design rights.
